PawProof

For judges and developers

Technical notes

PawProof uses a Solana program to control how USDC moves. This deployment currently runs on devnet. Identity checks and the real-world rescue outcome remain offchain responsibilities.

Recorded onchain

  • Campaign deadline and funding target
  • Shelter and rescue wallet addresses
  • Each pledge, refund, and payout
  • The shelter signature that authorizes release

Still requires trust

  • A production operator must verify shelter and rescue identities before listing
  • The shelter attests that the rescue pull occurred
  • The rescue remains responsible for how it uses the payout

Program flow

  1. 1. Pledge

A donor signs a transfer into the campaign vault.

  2. 2. Hold

The campaign PDA controls the escrow account.

  3. 3. Release

Before the deadline, the shelter may authorize payment to the fixed rescue address.

  4. 4. Refund

After the deadline, each donor may reclaim its own pledge.

Implementation

The source code and tests document the current implementation. Raw deployment identifiers stay out of the product interface.
